Julia has 12 years of architectural/specialty lighting design experience including aviation, commercial, corporate, education, government, healthcare, hospitality, justice and science + technology industries.  She serves on the Board of Managers for the local chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society, and is an active IALD member.  Julia began her career working for engineering firms although her degree is in interior design. She takes pride in being able to bridge the communication gap between architects and engineers.  As Co-Founder of H2Ltg, Julia will put her business development, marketing and leadership skills to work while continuing to share her passion for lighting with others.

Julia married her high school sweetheart, Ross, in 2007 and has two children, Clark and Elliot.  She enjoys spending time with friends and family and is an avid volleyball player.  You’ll find her on sand volleyball courts throughout St. Louis over the spring and summer months.
